On Thursday September 24, 2015, the Westside Warriors Freshmen volleyball team played against Omaha South High School at Westside High School. Both teams fought hard and gave their all to win. The crowd was full if people, including both high schools' JV and Varsity volleyball teams.

After every point won or lost, the Warriors come together in a team huddle to congratulate and pump up each other. Right after their huddle they prepared themselves for the next rally and got ready to fight for each point.
Coach Sarah Schoenrock mentioned, "All of the girls are so close and they keep each other up. However, when they are losing, when one player gets down, they all get down."

Number 15 hits the ball with a lot of power and gets a kill along with a massive point for her team. She kept hitting hard throughtout the game and helped to move her team to the top.
When she got off of the court she said, "It can be hard to play tough because I am still trying to meet everyone and get used to them."

Westside's setter fakes a set and actually hits it to the deep corner on Omaha South's court. Throughout the game, she kept on making trick plays and caused chaos on the other side.
Westside's outside hitter, Josie, says, "We have some pretty talented players on our team. Even though I don't get a lot of playing time, I do enjoy being apart of this team."

Both front row players, from both teams, are going head-to-head to try to push the ball onto each other's side. Omaha South won the point as they were able to get up and push it through the hands of Westside's middle hitter and their backrow wasn't ready to cover.
One of Westside's backrow players, Elise, said, "We all got stuck and couldn't move our feet to the ball. We tend to think that our middle is always going to be able to block the ball and forget to cover just in case she misses it."

Omaha South shanks the ball because they are not prepared to pass the hits of the Westside Warriors. All of the girls on Omaha South had some troubles playing together and they fought for a win.
There were people talking in the audience saying, "The Omaha South team has the passion to reach the win, but they fell short to the strength of Westside."
